Day 2 at Portsmouth: IBD & Portsmouth

Hello fellow adventurers

Today has been a long day. At 10 A.M. we grouped up at Portsmouth Harbour where we've got to explore Gunwharf Quays. Some of us already fell in love with the place and went out shopping. We also got to see the big Spinnaker Tower which was impressive.

After we visited Gunwharf Quays, we started walking through the centre of Portsmouth where we also had lunch. After lunch, we met someone who was guiding us through the rest of Portsmouth while giving us some tips and background information which would be usefull during our further stay here. During the tour, we've had the chance to see and visit some other well-known places like Clarence Pier.

At the end of the tour, we walked to the building of IBD Partnership were we received a heartwarming welcome. They offered us something to eat and drink while we were signing our Behaviour Policy. We were also accompanied by two men who gave a very motivational speech so everyone could go to work the next day without having to worry about anything.

This was our second day at Portsmouth. In the next blog we will talk about our host families and our first work experience here in Portsmouth.
