Day 12

The day started with sunshine, like every day this week! It's a great feeling waking up and seeing the sun shining. Frederik and me went to work and almost forgot that our host mother was cooking free food in her church for the homeless people in Portsmouth. She does this every Thursday. We were going to help her group, but Frederik had bad luck with his bus, he waved at the bus driver and the bus just drove past him. The moment that happened I took my stuff and went to the church alone. It wasn't really a church like you would think, it was cozier. The moment I arrived, the event was almost done, but I suggested to do the dishes. A kind lady offered to help me. A little bit later Frederik came in and helped with drying.

A few minutes later, the event was done and the people went home. We helped a bit with cleaning and headed home too. They were really glad we came to help and we are going to help them again next week.
