Day One

We had to get up early to be at the Brussels train station at 7:40 AM, because we had to be on the Eurostar before 8:52 AM and we all needed to go thought the check-in and baggage control. While we were waiting to get on the train, Boyd and Miel were playing Mortal Kombat, the both of us were playing Mario Kart with Sam and Jet and the rest was busy on their phone. Once we got on the Eurostar, everybody went to do their own stuff for 2 hours.

Once we arrived in London, we had to go to the St. Giles hotel to drop off our suitcases. After that we had a free afternoon. Anelle, Zoë, Laïla, Julie, Sam and Jet went everywhere in London. Boyd and Miel went shopping and ate at KFC. Sha’ree and Rik went together with the teachers to a few tea shops for miss De Haes because she loves tea and to a huge toy shop with 6 floors.

Around 4 PM, we could go to our hotel rooms for the night. The groups were: Rik and Jet; Miel and Boyd; Anelle, Zoë and Julie; Laïla, Sam and Sha’ree. We put our suitcases there and went back to the lobby to go to the restaurant. We ate at ‘Limoncello’, an Italian restaurant and had a very funny time in there.

After dinner we went to the ‘Lion King, the musical’ at Lyceum theatre. It started at 7:30 PM and ended around 10 PM, with a small break during the play. When the musical was over, we all went back to the hotel to call it a night.
