After we packed our bags we checked out of the hotel and left them in a storage room. We went for a walk, we went Marble Arch. From there we walked all the way to Buckingham Palace where we saw a ceremony with the Brittish guards. There were a lot of horses involved and a few marching squads of the Royal Brittish guards. After the ceremony we went to the closest tube where we went back to our hotel to get our luggage. We collected all our stuff and went on the the train station called Waterloo.

After we ate our lunch we hopped on the train and travelled for almost 2 houres straight. Our didn't stopped in station Portsmouth which is located close to our host families. The they didn't travelled further was because they were working on the railways, we had to take the bus that brought us to Gunwharf and Quays. There was a lady waiting for us named Benedetta, she is part of the IBD Partnership. After a small introduction she brought us to the taxi company where we were waiting in pairs to arrive at our host family. We greeted them and introduced ourselves to them so that they will know a bit more about us. We were talking about the things we like, rules, lifestyle, etc... After our introduction we went to our rooms and packed out our luggage.
At 8 PM we went to the Lord Palmerston to meet our teachers again and the other students. After a bit of updating we all agreed that we enjoyed our stay here in Portsmouth. The first day at
our host family was a succes!
